Vivaldis Solo Violin
We can’t believe this day has finally come. This project has been a true labor of love, an obsession for the entire team for the last three years. Our goal was not just to create another violin library, but to fundamentally change what is possible with a virtual solo instrument. Today, we are so proud to finally release the Vivaldi Solo Violin.
So, why did it take three years? Because we were chasing a level of realism that simply didn’t exist. We started by capturing a priceless 1770 Gagliano violin with 8 vintage microphones, but that was just the beginning. The real challenge was the performance.
We developed 49 H.A.L.™ Round Robin Legatos, a technology designed to utterly destroy the robotic "machine gun" effect of repeated notes. This means that when you play a fast passage, every single note has a unique, human variation. It breathes.
But the biggest breakthrough, something our beta testers went crazy for, is our new approach to ensembles. For the first time ever, you can create a chamber group of up to 8 violins from this single solo source, and our engine will ensure each one sounds different, all while playing in perfect polyphonic legato. It’s a feature that has to be played to be believed.
The Vivaldi Solo Violin is available now for $99. We poured our hearts into this one, and we believe it’s a true game-changer. Please share your work with us on the Soundpaint Discord!
