1972 Super Wool
We’ve been absolutely buzzing about this all week. There are some sounds that are just part of your DNA, and for us, the warm, soulful bark of a classic Wurlitzer is one of them. We grew up on Supertramp, Queen, and Ray Charles, and we've always wanted to capture that exact magic.
When we released it earlier this month, we knew it was special. But we were honestly blown away to see the news: Reverb just named the 1972 Super Wool the #1 best-selling electronic piano in the world (Reverb, 2025).
This is incredible, and it's thanks to all of you in the community who have supported it. We think the reason it has resonated so much is that we didn't just sample a piano; we sampled the feeling of those records. Our sound designers spent weeks listening to those classic hits to create 41 iconic patches that nail the sound of artists like Stevie Wonder and Pink Floyd.
