CS80 UDS
If you're like us, the sound of the Yamaha CS-80 is the sound of your favorite movies. Blade Runner, Chariots of Fire... Vangelis made this synth a legend! Not to mention its iconic use by Michael Jackson and Toto. We knew if we were going to tackle this synth, we had to go deeper than anyone ever has before.
This project was a massive undertaking for the whole team. We created over 440 programs built from more than 270 unique parts. We even captured the super rare and monstrously huge sounding Unison mode. It's this obsessive level of detail that brings the instrument to life in Soundpaint.
