Adastra Ambiences is Available Now
There’s a huge range of ambient sounds in here for all 4 of the string instruments (Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Basses). The sounds were created using the original recordings, so they have that unmistakable organic feeling and a ton of life and motion. Trying to describe ambient soundscapes with words is a bit of a fool’s errand, so take a listen and hear them for yourself:
Aren’t they beautiful? And the video can only cover so many of the sounds. There are an absolute boatload (maybe more like a starship load - since Ad Astra is Latin for “to the stars” … Get it?) of sounds, so don’t forget to use one-note stretch if you want to isolate a single sound and move between pitches.
Adastra Ensemble strings sound great with these sounds! But even without the larger Adastra instruments, these ambiences can really shine and add some magic to any track.
