Duduk Virtuoso
Every now and then, we get to work on a project that feels truly special. This is one of them. We had the incredible honor of working with master soloist Mher Mnatsakanyan to capture the sound of his personal Duduk, an instrument handmade by his own father. The history and emotion in that instrument is something you can truly feel.
Our goal was to honor that legacy. We used a collection of world class vintage microphones to record four distinct microphone positions. This gives you amazing control to shape the sound, from intimate and breathy to rich and spacious. The whole team, including our beta testers, was just in awe of the sound.
The Duduk Virtuoso is one of the most beautiful and emotional instruments we’ve ever created, and we are so proud to share it with you. We can't wait to hear the beautiful music you make with it.
