The Polyphon is Available Now!

There are a lot of charming instruments in Soundpaint already, but the Polyphon has a really unique character. It's basically a giant music box, so it has an innocent, sweet sound, but it also sounds very mechanical, like you can hear the gears turning to pluck the tines. 

Even though a lot of instruments have existed for longer than the Polyphon in one form or another, this instrument sounds older: antique really is the best word. It doesn't sound worn down or anything, but it does sound like a product of its time. Having the Polypohon in Soundpaint is a really cool mix of the antique and the modern.
