YOUR CHALLENGE:

Create a piece of music with one sound for a chance to win a $500 Soundpaint Store Credit, influence in the next ReSound challenge, and social media features across all 8Dio and Soundpaint channels.

Oh, what sound you ask? The gentle, soothing purr of a cat. Not just any cat, but our beloved studio assistant, Brix 😻

Here Are The Steps:

1) Download Soundpaint here and the Free Purr Part , both free, of course. Make sure to unpack the Free Purr Part before continuing.

2) Load the Part into Soundpaint by clicking the hamburger menu in the top left > Manage Library & Part Directories > select the location of the folder you downloaded > Full rescan > click the person (user) icon.

3) Make something cool! Your submission must be no longer than 60 seconds and only use the contest sample.

4) Post a video of your work to TikTok and/or Instagram, follow and tag us, and use #SoundpaintOneSound when you post AND fill out the Submission Form with your entry information.

Judging and prizes:

Troels Folmann, BAFTA winner and founder of Soundpaint and 8Dio, and Grammy-Award Winning Mixer Jeff Ellis will be judging the submissions for the One Sound contest. They will listen to and give feedback to the top candidates over livestream to announce the top three placed winners. We’re also letting our Creator Community choose their favorite as well via a vote, which we will announce closer to the competition deadline, so you all can choose who you want to be the Community Spark Winner.

Grand Prize: $500 Store Credit
Runner-Up Prizes: 2nd Place: $200 Store Credit
3rd Place: $100 Store Credit
Community Winner: $150 Store Credit (Public Vote)
All Participants: A 30% Discount Code will be sent via email after the contest concludes.
